Charles is a former UK Labour politician renowned for his extensive career in public service and his deep understanding of the Labour Party, serving in Tony Blair’s Cabinet as Party Chairman before moving to be Secretary of State for Education and Skills and then Home Secretary.
Sir David Normington, Senior Advisor, Shearwater
David has enjoyed a distinguished civil service career, serving in some of the most senior and demanding positions in the UK’s civil service. He spent ten years as Permanent Secretary at the Department for Education and Skills and then the Home Office.
Abigail Morris, Associate Partner, Shearwater
Abigail was a member of the founding executive team of the UK’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) where she served as the department’s first Director of Communications, having previously served as Director of Communications at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Dr Chris Adams, Director, Shearwater
Chris, our Director at Shearwater in London, specialises in public affairs and government relations, and has over a decade’s experience of working in and around Westminster, including at the heart of multiple general election campaigns.
