Caspar advises clients on a variety of different policy and communications areas, from tech and AI, to European competitiveness and environmental issues.

He brings experience of having worked at the only European federation exclusively focused on representing European private sector interests in Africa vis-à-vis the European institutions, notably at the European African Business Forum. There he was involved in high-level policy dialogue and advocacy concerning corporate sustainability due diligence, the Global Gateway, ESG agenda and sustainable finance.

Previously in his career, Caspar worked in Berlin at an association bringing together German businesses with their Middle Eastern private and public counterparts, as well as at a research institute analysing political and economic developments in the MENA Region.

Caspar read Asian Studies with Asian and Oriental Languages as well as Islamic Studies and History at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. During his studies, he spent a year in Beirut, Lebanon, learning Arabic and spending time at the leading Lebanese public policy and international affairs institute.

A native of Scotland, Caspar speaks English, German, French and Arabic.
